The Cervical Screening Test and Women’s Health Checks

You can book a Cervical Screening Test (formerly known as Pap Smear)  with your usual GP, as all GPs are experienced in Women’s Health. Please let the reception staff know at the time of booking that your appointment is for a Cervical Screening Test.

Women’s Health Clinic:

Dr Sheree Krass is now focusing on her area of special interest, Women’s Health.  This includes menstrual problems, premenstrual syndrome, sexual health including sexually transmitted infections, contraception, menopause including premature Menopause, osteoporosis and psychological aspects of women’s health. By specialising in women’s health, Dr Krass may choose to refer you back to your GP for general medical problems or to an appropriate specialist. Dr Krass has a particular interest in women’s health throughout the life stages. She believes in the model of health where “Health is a state of complete, physical, social and spiritual well being, not merely the absence of disease.” As such, Dr Krass is committed to the physical and emotional health of each woman that she sees. Every woman’s needs are different and Dr Krass aims to empower women to allow them to make their own decisions regarding their health. She bases this on trustworthy information and taking into account each individual’s personal needs and values at that time.
